Christopher Thiele

Christopher Thiele has been working as a data scientist in the Big Data Analytics research group at the German Economic Institute (IW) since the beginning of 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick and a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Cologne. Christopher’s main responsibilities are planning and conducting data science projects, research on data-centred phenomena in economics, and development of data-centric algorithms. Prior to joining the IW, he worked as a data scientist at EnBW AG (Energie Baden-Württemberg) and Deloitte GmbH, where he gained considerable experience in conducting data science projects.
