Martin Husovec

Martin Husovec is an Assistant Professor at the Tilburg University, Netherlands, appointed jointly by Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) and Tilburg Law and Economics Center (TILEC), and an Affiliated Scholar at Center for Internet and Society (CIS) of Stanford Law School.

His scholarship focuses on innovation and digital liberties, in particular, regulation of intellectual property and freedom of expression.

Martin obtained his PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich for his work on injunctions against intermediaries (published with Cambridge University Press, 2017).

He was a visiting researcher at Stanford Law School (2014), Japanese Institute for Intellectual Property (2015) and European University Institute (2018).
